Meadow Makers
★★★★☆ 4.2
Meadow Makers is comfort food. You inherit a neglected plot, plant things, meet the villagers, and slowly bring a tired valley back to life. There's no fail state and no pressure, which is exactly the point. I played most of it one-handed before falling asleep.
Where it shines is the small stuff: the way tools auto-switch based on what you tap, the gentle seasonal music, the fact that saving is automatic and instant. It understands that cozy games get played in short, sleepy chunks.
The late game thins out on content, and the fishing minigame is forgettable. But as a wind-down ritual, few mobile sims do it better.
What we liked
- Genuinely relaxing, zero pressure
- Smart one-handed touch controls
- Auto-save means you never lose a session
