Neon Drift Circuit

★★★★☆ 4.1 Editor rating

Neon Drift Circuit skips the simulation nonsense and goes straight for the arcade dopamine. You tap to drift, release to grip, and chain corners for speed boosts. It's the sort of racer your hands learn before your brain does, and that's a compliment.

The default tilt steering is fine, but switch to the tap controls in settings right away — they're far more reliable and far kinder to your wrists. Tracks are short, which fits mobile perfectly, and the soundtrack is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

The downside is repetition. There aren't enough tracks, and you'll see them all in a couple of days. For a free pocket racer, though, the driving feel is better than it has any right to be.
